QUESTION:
I have a 2015 Toyota Avalon XLE Premium with navigation. I would like to update the navigation system. I have been told different things by different dealers. One says I need to schedule a 2 hour service appointment to have the service department install a new sd card and do some other adjustments to the system for a top of the head estimate of $400.00, including the cost of the sd card. Another dealer told me that I just need to go to their parts department, buy the updated sd card for $169.00 and simply pop the map cap off my system on the dash, pull out the old card and put in the new one. I would appreciate any advice you can give me. Thank you! -Mike , Columbus
